 Thu 25th Feb  - Newton Lake, NLW  --  2ad + 2juv Mute Swan,  4 Gadwall,  2 Shelduck,  11 Canada Geese,  28 Teal,  10 Tufted Duck.  
 - Penkford Flash, NLW (viewed from the bridge)  --  9 Teal on flash. 
 - Pennington Lane driving into Earlestown  --  25+ Lapwings in field,  1 Buzzard,  1 Kestrel. 
 - Wagon Lane, Haydock, Sankey Valley  --  2 Lapwing in top field.
 Wed 24th Feb  - Cooper Lane, Haydock, Sankey Valley  --  1 Buzzard,  2 Kestrel,  10 Redwing,  3 Nuthatch,  1 Treecreeper. 
 - Mucky Mountains, NLW  --  several Siskins around the car park behind Newton hospital, canal area. 
 - Inglenook Farm, Rainford bypass  --  3 Snipe1 Stonechat - opposite side of bypass - tweeted on St Helens Blog
