 - Blackbrook, Sankey Brook, Sankey Valley  --  2 adult + 1 juv Mute Swan,  1 Grey Wagtail. 
 - Wagon Lane, Haydock, Sankey Valley  --   2 Jay,  2 Redwing. 
 Sun 30th Oct  - Billinge Hill area  --  6 Crossbill SE this morning and 5 Brambling over - Manchester Birding Forum 
 - Taylor Park  --  35 Fieldfare early afternoon - Manchester Birding Forum
 Sat 29th Oct  - Haydock  --  1 Barn owl was seen at 1.145am flying very low over a garden in Clipsley lane Haydock, heading south - St Helens Blog 
 - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock -- 1 Tawny Owl heard at 10.10pm - seemed to be over towards the direction of Havannah Flash.

 Thu 27th Oct  - Carr Mill Dam  --  1 Teal,  1 Water Rail,  11 Siskin - all at the Goyt inlet - St Helens Blog  
 Wed 26th Oct  - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock -- 200 Pink-footed Geese over at 12.15pm south-east + another 150 over 1.45pm going south.
 Tue 25th Oct  - Carr Mill Dam  --  5 Wigeon (one male, 4 female) on the water,  57 Skylark flew east,  1 Siskin - St Helens Blog 
 - Cooper Lane, Haydock  --  Around 30 Redwings' seen feeding on the Hawthorn trees - St Helens Blog 
 - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  1 Buzzard circling over high up.

 Thu 20th Oct  - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  lots of small skeins of Pink-footed Geese around all day2 skeins heard in the morning,

 - Reed's Lane, Rainford -- 2,350 Pink-footed Goose in the area of which approx 700 feeding in stubble to west of Lane - St Helens Blog 
 - Newton Lake, NLW --  6 Grey Heron,  27 Canada Geese,  1 male Gadwall,  44 Teal,  3 Tufted Duck, 1 Kingfisher,  1 Jay.

 Thu 13th Oct  - Between Windle Brook and East Lancs Rd  --  there is a small circular pond, in full view a Bittern rose from the reeds and circled
