 Thu 28th Sept  - Haydock Island  --   4 Buzzards,  2 Raven,  Hooded Crow still in the fields with corvid flock, park in layby on westbound A580,

 Wed 20th Sept  - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  male Sparrowhawk flew up onto roof of house opposite. 
 - Clock Face  --  2 Ravens to NE of Clock Face in thermal at 11:35 am today. Last seen moving west - tweeted on St Helens Blog 
 - Havannah Flash, Sankey Valley  --  2 Buzzard,  1 Kestrel - St Helens Blog 
 Tue 19th Sept  - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  pair of Buzzards soaring high up overhead at dinner time.
 Mon 18th Sept  - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  3 Mute Swans,  3 Cormorants - St Helens Blog 
 - Holiday Moss, Rainford  --  2 Snipe on Holiday Moss Rainford tonite - tweeted on St Helens Blog 
 Sun 17th Sept  - Moss Lane, Windle  --  70 to 80 Barnacle Geese (approx) in field adjacent to Moss Lane, Rainford - St Helens Blog 
 - Havannah Flash, Sankey Valley  --  80 Pink-footed Geese over 8-15am, 20 Swallows overSt Helens Blog 
 - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  between 60 to 70 Pink-footed Geese going over in south east direction at 8.25am.
 Sat 16th Sept  - Clock Face area  --  Egret sp  flew over at 9:15 am. Ravenhead Business Park pools checked, no sign - tweeted on St Helens Blog 
 - Billinge Hill  --  About 250 Pink-footed Geese flying over Billinge hill at 11am  - posted in the comments section on  St Helens Blog 
 Fri 15th Sept  - Havannah Flash, Sankey Valley  --  20 Pink-footed Geese  over around 11.00am,  2 adult + regular 2 adult & 8 juv Mute Swans.
 - Haydock  --  Approx 80 Pink-footed Geese seen flying over Haydock this morning at 8-15 am heading East - St Helens Blog 
 Thu 14th Sept  - Havannah Flash, Sankey Valley  --  10 Pink-footed Geese seen flying low overhead 8-45am, headings west - St Helens Blog 
 Wed 13th Sept  - Carr Mill Dam  --  23 Great Crested Grebe,  100+ Swallow, 1 Sand MartinSt Helens Blog 
 Tue 12th Sept  - Billinge Hill area  --  60+ Pink-footed Geese over, flew high NE over Higher End at 15:55 today - Manchest er Birding Forum
 Thu 7th Sept  - My Garden, off Wagon Lane, Haydock  --  1 Buzzard seen over towards Havannah Flash / Sankey Valley,   1 Swallow over.
 Mon 4th Sept  - Newton le Willows  --  Raven in trees behind Bridge Street, Earlestown this morning - Manchester Birding Forum
 Sat 2nd Sept  - Rainford Road up to back end of Billinge Hill area  --  2 Buzzard,  1 Kestrel,  steady flow of Swallows thru 30+.
